Brown University Initiative for Sustainable Energy (ISE) hosted Prof. Ramamoorthy Ramesh on April 17, 2024. Prof. Ramesh delivered the inaugural ISE Distinguished Lecture titled "Energy: The True Final Frontier." He was the founding Director of the DOE SunShot initiative, predecessor to the DOE Solar Energy Technology Office (SETO). Prof. Ramesh is currently the Executive Vice President for Research at Rice University.

The lecture was well attended by Brown faculty, postdocs, and students at Barus & Holley, Room 190, School of Engineering. A wine and cheese reception followed the lecture at Barus and Holley lobby from 5:30-6:30pm.
